Jimmy Hickman Excavating is looking for an experienced Project Manager (Site Work) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish, including developing project plans, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
Job Description
• Estimate jobs and take-off’s
• Understanding of jobsite protocols specific to project and site
• Maintain accurate records, purchase logs, and other documentation
• Ability to schedule crews to meet Client timelines
• Facilitate purchasing of needed materials
• Provide necessary direction to team including Estimator, Coordinator and Superintendents
• Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards
• Assisting in the preparation of change orders and coordinating receivables and collections with office administrative management team
• Serving as the main point of contact to clients - building strong business relationships and providing solutions to challenges; Providing customers with clear and easy to understand information
• Ability to recognize problems outside of scope and effectively address with Client
• Frequently communicates with Clients and co-workers while performing job tasks
• Attend regularly scheduled conference calls and company meetings
Required Skills/Abilities
• 5+ years of experience and knowledge in Site Development Construction
• General knowledge of all related trades – paving, concrete, etc
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications and construction documents
• Knowledge of construction safety and safety procedures
• Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time and on budget
• High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
• Possess proven problem-solving solutions for the client and the company
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
• Effective organizational planning, communication, and superior time management
• Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications
• Excellent verbal and written skills

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
